New Mixed-Use Development: Sound Yard at Gas South District
- A new mixed-use development is coming to Gas South District. The development will utilize a ground lease on land that currently serves as surface parking for Gas South Arena.
- The proposed site plan includes:
- 16,500 square feet of market-driven office space;
- about 131,000 square feet of retail, food, and beverage space;
- and over 380 luxury multi-family residential units.
- There is also a proposed green space and new surface parking for this development.
- Adjacent to Sound Yard at Gas South District will be a separate project to construct a Northside Medical Office Building.
Improvements Near and At Gas South District
- Sugarloaf Parkway Widening SPLOST Project
- New intersection mast arms were installed at Meadow Church Rd. and Paul McCartney Blvd.
- Gas South Arena renovations are underway, including the construction of a new Parking Deck adjacent to Gas South Arena.

- This new residence includes 265 apartment units on 7.8 acres, and an additional 11 ground-floor commercial suites.

- New and future retailers at Sugarloaf Mills, expanding the shopping experience in the district.
- Brick City Ice Cream Bar & Grill will soon offer a new dining experience in the Sugarloaf CID.
