At the April 2025 Caucus of Electors, Jerry Queen was unanimously elected to Post 1.
As the Vice President of A&D Foods / Eastern Star and AAA Properties, Jerry has over 20 years of experience in leading and managing supply chain, including full-cycle plant and warehouse operations and logistics. A&D Foods produces, imports, and delivers fine food products, like black tiger shrimp and eel. The company serves over 5,000 clients per week, from Metro Atlanta to 21 other states. The company also supplies restaurants with dry goods and catering supplies.

What excites you most about the future of the CID?
A&D Foods is dedicated to the community’s growth, actively engaging in positive initiatives, like the CID, to contribute to the area’s development. By uniting our efforts, we can collectively shape a brighter future for all.
What book or podcast inspires you most and why?
Reflecting on timeless principles of leadership, such as those outlined in John Maxwell’s The 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership, we are reminded of the enduring value of character, relationships, knowledge, and experience. These pillars continue to guide us towards success, emphasizing the importance of effective leadership in today’s dynamic landscape.
What is one priority or project for the CID that you would like to see completed in the next 5 years?
A&D is committed to being an active member of the community, and we know that joining the CID is another step towards that goal. Our 250 + staff members speak over 17 languages, which is reflective of the diverse Gwinnett community.
Where do you like to spend your free time? Are there any hobbies or activities that help you “recharge”?
Outside of work, as a devoted family man, I cherish moments with my 3 children and 3 grandchildren. We immerse ourselves in nature through fishing, camping, and exploration. These experiences keep me grounded, reinforcing the purpose behind our hard work and dedication to building a better tomorrow.
