Milan serves as the Director of Development at Monaco Hospitality, a boutique real estate investment and development firm based in Buford, GA. In this role, he directs the complete lifecycle of new commercial construction, specializing heavily in hotel development. Milan acts as the central strategic liaison connecting general contractors, engineers, investors, and branded partners to deliver premier hospitality projects throughout Greater Atlanta and the Southeast. Recognized as a brand strategist and new-openings specialist across major hotel brands, he brings extensive financial expertise from his prior roles in capital markets at KPMG and corporate advisory at Goldman Sachs. Milan holds a BBA in Finance and a Legal Studies certificate from the University of Georgia, as well as professional certifications from the Nolan School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University.

What excites you most about the future of the CID?
I am highly optimistic about the CID expansion within the Sugarloaf market and the wave of new investment entering the area.
What book or podcast inspires you most and why?
The book that most inspires me is Think Like a Rocket Scientist by Ozan Varol. This book resonates with me because it encourages higher level thinking, outside the conventional normality.
What is one priority or expectation that you have for the next 5 years as a member of the CID?
Looking ahead, I aim to champion further hospitality development and institutional engagement in the Sugarloaf area while continuing to strengthen relationships with existing partners.
Where do you like to spend your free time? Are there any hobbies or activities that help you “recharge”?
I am a passionate traveler, so I spend my downtime exploring unique boutique hotels and resorts around the world. When I’m not traveling, you can find me cheering for the Georgia Bulldogs or following the Formula 1 circuit.
